Will claiming compensation cost me anything?

Q. Can I claim expenses as well as compensation?

Q. If I have to claim against my employer for an accident at work, will I lose my job?

No. Your employer has insurance to cover any compensation so your job should not be affected.

Q. How much compensation will I receive for my injuries?

Q. How long do I have to make a claim for compensation?

The general rule is that you have three years from the date of the accident to make a claim for compensation, but this is extended to three years from the date of your 16th birthday if you had not reached this before the accident. If you are in any doubt, please ask your solicitor when you make your claim enquiry.
