£6850 - Karen, Derbyshire

In July 2008, Karen from Derbyshire was involved in a road traffic accident. She had been driving along the M1 in the middle lane, at approximately 40mph, when all of a sudden a car travelling in the lane to Karen's right changed lanes into the middle lane, without checking it was safe to do so, and collided with Karen's vehicle.
