£500,000 Compensation For Cyclist - November 2007
A cyclist recieved £530,000 in compensation following a successful personal injury claim.
The 36 year old man had been knocked from his bike negligently by a motorcyclist and suffered ongoing memory problems as a result of the accident. The judge concluded that the cyclist would remain largely unemployable for the rest of his life.

It is normally the case that the larger claims for compensation usually are made up of an award for future loss of earnings, or for the need for ongoing nursing care and attention.
